The full-keypad smart and versatile GP280 includes an alphanumeric and iconic display affording easy access to the intuitive menu system. Talkgroup identities, phone book, contact list and battery gauge icon can also be viewed on the display.

– 90 modes keep a large number of diverse user talkgroups constantly in touch with each other and one-to-one calls are facilitated by the pre-programmed contact list or direct keypad entry of the user’s radio number.

The Private Call Decode capability on the GP280 enables users to receive a one-to-one call from another radio without disturbing the rest of the team, keeping sensitive information and conversations private when they need to be.
